Opening day treated some anglers on the EW pretty good while others didn't do as well. It sounds like it was pretty crowded down there but the lucky anglers who were able to get on some fairly un-pressured water seemed to do pretty well. Most of the action we heard about was on nymphs though there were a few anglers who did well with streamers. We didn't hear any news on dries yet. The flows and temperatures are great right now so that's helping out quite a bit. It sounds like there's a decent number of fish that have moved back into the "Mile" section which is great news. Some of the patterns to fish include: perdigon, silver streak, jig worms, San Juan worms, hare's ear, rainbow warrior, warrior perdigons, dead drift crayfish, sculpzilla, ziwi.
