High winds are credited with breaking up the Hemenway fishing pier and pushing the breakwater tires into shore. A 25-pound striper was pulled in along the beach just north of what's left of the fishing pier. NDOW planted trout on Tuesday at B-5 Road where anglers have reeled in striped bass ranging from four to eight pounds. In the Vegas Wash area fishing has slowed done compared to recent weeks, but anglers are still catching fish. Trout fishing has been slow.
