With the Bullhead City Regatta behind us its back to catching Stripers. Our Striped Bass bite is great on both the lake Mohave and below Davis dam along the Colorado River. Up on the lake its anchovies for your best chance to land some.

Our local anglers Steve Jansen and Jole Payne landed this batch from their boat using anchovies and the fish were deep. the larger one was in the 7 pound range. in and around the coves above the power lines the small mouth bass are going after plastics and various count downs are working well in the shad color. Work the shelves in these areas.

Below the dam is producing strippers in the 2-3 pound range the casino area sunshine peninsula along with rotary park are great spots to try. both anchovies for you bait anglers or try your favorite lure for some fighting action. the channel cat fish are showing some activity.

Not much word from the marsh the large mouth bass should be doing well in the area spinner baits or plastics is a sure bet for the marsh. Hope this finds all well and safe watch for others while out on the water.

Ice that catch down so we can share and thanks for all of your support see you soon.
