Join NDOW's Introduction to Archery Class!

The Nevada Department of Wildlife will be offering an Introduction to Archery class on Aug. 30, 2018 at the Verdi Library and Nature Center, 270 Bridge Street in Verdi.

For those of you who have always wanted to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow, but have never had the chance to learn, don’t miss this opportunity.  The Introduction to Archery clinic is designed to give participants a hands-on experience in the sport of archery.
 
When: Aug. 30, 2018. Class will begin at 6 p.m. and will conclude at 8 p.m.
Where: Verdi Library and Nature Center, 270 Bridge Street.
Who: This class is designed for anyone, 16 years of age or older, who is brand new to the world of archery. Subject matter will include basics such as parts and function of a compound bow, technique and range safety. There will be a 30-minute classroom instruction period followed by a target shooting experience. Equipment will be provided to each participant free of charge.
