Near End of Duck Season

Topock Marsh - Topock, AZ (Mohave County)

We have some good news the trout stocking is going to be back should be on Tuesday if all goes well at the hatchery.  The federal employees that were off during the shutdown are having to take a fish count and start up from that point.  Our local angler Steve (Hot stick Steve owe) Pugh went out for the near end of duck season and did some dry land hunting to catch the 3 he brought in to share.  He was hunting in the topock marsh area.  With the end of water fowl season the marsh opens up more area for fishing.  This is an example of the outdoor activities we have going on in our area.  The fishing hunting hiking and of course all types of off roading gives us plenty of opportunities to get out doors.
