Water temperatures are still very cold, and barely creep into the mid 50's most days in the late afternoons and early evenings. Temps were 49 degrees around 9am yesterday but the fish were eating on top all day for me, my clients and my friends. Spent the entire day down there and the hatches got stronger as the water warmed with TONS of yellow mayflies (see below). Also saw a fair number of Caddis in the late afternoon twilight hours. Bottom line is bring the dry fly rod and don't bother nymphing. It's honestly all I've done most of the season down here.
