Anglers are having some success for striped bass, but the action has yet to really pick up. Those who are catching fish have used a variety of techniques from trolling to still-fishing and casting lures. A few channel cats have also shown up. They seem to favor chicken livers and anchovies. Largemouth bass have been active in the lower end of the lake near Katherine Landing and in the coves just north of Cottonwood.
