Fall is fast approaching. If you have never fly fished in our area in the fall you should put it on your bucket list. Area waters like the Truckee, Little Truckee, Davis Lake and the East Walker River are getting ready to explode. There is so much to do here in the fall it is hard to decide where to go. for Thursday, August 25th, 2011Little Truckee River: There has been lots of fishing pressure on the Little Truckee but the conditions are very good
East Walker River (CA): Flows are Inconsistent on the East Walker but the fishing has been good
Carson River: Flows are perfect and the fishing has been awesome on the East Carson
Lake Davis: Fishing at Davis Lake Is OK
Frenchman Lake: Fishing at Frenchman's Reservoir is good with fish in the 13 to 16 inch range

East Walker River (CA): The flows on the East Walker have been fluctuating due to Irrigation
Carson River: The East Carson is still high and fishing should improve as the water level drops
Lake Davis: Fish Davis Lake in the mornings and the evenings
Frenchman Lake: Fly Fishing at Frenchman's has been very good
Lassen Meadows Ranch: Book Now to Fish Lassen Meadows this fall
Smith Creek: Smith Creek will re-open for the Fall Season
