The river has fished so well over the past couple of months that we have gotten spoiled. That could all change in the next week or two. We are getting enough snow in the lower elevations to create some run-off. When we get some warm weather the flows should pick up a bit. It is not going to be as bad as in a normal snow year but it will affect the fishing some for sure. The flows are: Truckee 186cfs, Boca Bridge 498cfs, Farad 523cfs, Reno 472cfs.

The afternoons are still the best time to go but keep an eye on the water clarity and the rising and falling of the daily flows with the warm weather expected over the next week or even more. BWO's are hatching in good numbers East of Reno and Skwala Stones and Caddis are also around, mostly in Reno and upstream from there a few miles. The flows are just about as good as they get right now and really resemble summer flows.
