Anglers have found moderate success while fishing in the backs of coves. Largemouth bass are taking baits in about 25 feet of water near drop-offs, and catfish action is picking up in the nighttime hours. Habitat structures put in place by the Nevada Department of Wildlife, Arizona Game and Fish Department and National Park Service are proving to be fish magnets with utilization by multiple species. Additional structures will be constructed and installed at various coves during the next couple of months. For information on volunteering with this project visit
