Ice on the reservoir has deteriorated this week. The best ice can be found near the dam or the upper area of the lake that receives little sun. Thin ice is prevalent throughout the rest of the lake and extreme caution should be used when venturing out. The fishing has been good for rainbows using night crawlers or green PowerBait. The campgrounds are open.
