Water is green on the top so bait fishing remains good. Shore anglers get trout at Little Hilton with nightcrawlers or Power Bait. Boaters with bait get trout at McGee Bay. Perch are around the edges of the weed beds in 12 feet of water in McGee Bay and Layton Springs. Fly fishers do best in Layton Springs and the river channel near Green Bank. Target 11 to 13 feet of water. Trollers go down 24 feet with Tasmanian Devils in McGee Bay and Alligator Point. Mickey Baron  (760) 937-3245; (760) 935-4301
