Utah Sucker (Catostomus ardens)

The Utah Sucker is native to Nevada's eastern drainages, primarily in the Muddy River, Virgin River, and White River systems. It inhabits pools and runs of small to medium streams and rivers. As a native species, the Utah Sucker is managed by the Nevada Department of Wildlife as part of the state's native fish fauna, though it receives less angling attention than game species.
