Delta last Sunday, all and all had a great day. Water temp on the main Chanel was 77 degrees, with a mild breeze and clear skies. First thing in the morning I threw a river2sea spitin wa and my brother followed it up with a sinko. We focused the morning on main channel by haypress reach at the top of the out going tide. First and only blow up of the day was a giant but I dumped her at the boat. We pressed on and the sinko in green pumpkin was putting a lot of 1-2 pounders in the boat. I decided to start cranking, trying to not be out done on my own boat and caught up in a hurry! I had a lot of bites in the last hour of out going, the quality was better with 6 fish 2-3 pound on rip rap throwing the river2sea biggie smalls in TW delta red. Later in the day I switched it up to punching at the bottom of low tide and just couldn’t put it together besides a few dinks. A jerk bait in the out side weed line at the end of the day on incoming tide was what it took to put on a clinic with 8 fish over three pounds in an hour. Good luck out there, and if it isn’t working switch it up!
