While the water at Wilson is clearing, it is still off color, though fishing has picked up here. The stream below has flows that are fishable and one angler reported decent luck catching 14 to 15 inch fish below the falls. Shore anglers near the boat ramp were having good luck with worms and PowerBait for 12 to 15 inch fish. NDOW expects to stock between 40,000 and 50,000 fish this year due to improved water conditions. This lake should be stocked once it stops spilling. That may occur sometime over the next couple of weeks.
