Our striper bite is holding a bit on the slow side. we are seeing fish in the water but has been on the slow to middle side to get them landed.

Our local angler Ernie Calma was able to pick up a few in the nature center area. Using anchovies from his boat his larger one was 2.14 pounds at 19 and 1/4 inches. For this time of year these have made a come back.

There are some larger fish out there but these smaller one are great on the grill. With some word by the Davis Dam the striper are there but slow to land. U on Lake Mohave and again near the dam George Terro our local angler Landed a 6.18 pound Striper at 28 and 3/4 inches. He was fishing from shore and using his favorite Storm bait (swim bait). Both rotary park and the city park in old Bullhead are doing ok. Anchovies seem to be the bait of choice for these areas.
