Captain James Smith checked in this evening with an update from the California Dawn out of Berkeley, CA. We had a tremendous halibut bite today! We had solid numbers as tides continue to improve for the buts. We scored a total of 25 California Halibut and 5 Striped Bass for our 20 anglers fishing in the bay. We threw back another 30 fish keeping everyone busy at the rail.

I have open loads this week for halibut and bass trips. The tides remain excellent into the weekend. It's going to be your best shot at a halibut this coming week, don't miss out!
