UPDATE: 1:10pm - The San Diego has called in with 7 Bluefin Tuna on the boat so far. Five of the fish are between 75-80lbs, one is 123lbs and while talking with captain Ryan, they gaffed another fish at 135lbs after fighting it for over 90 minutes. They have had a lot of casualties today and one fish was lost that was estimated to be over 200lbs.

The San Diego will be fishing OFFSHORE through FRIDAY 6/17. These trips are limited to 45 people and reservations are required! Recommended tackle for these trips is a MINIMUM of 50# monofilament! Poppers have also been working well.

The San Diego has finished their three quarter day trip on Thursday with 9 Bluefin Tuna. Seven of the bluefin are between 65-75lbs with two big ones on the boat weighing in at 101lbs and 132lbs. 5:15pm - The San Diego has called in with a final count of 16 Bluefin Tuna for their three quarter day trip on Wednesday. The majority of the fish are between 60-75lbs with one monster on the deck taping out at 115lbs. 3:30pm - The San Diego has called in with 12 Bluefin Tuna so far on the boat with some time left to fish.
