Striped bass are biting, and not just the small ones. Bigger fish have been caught from the powerlines to the dam. A couple of groups went out this past week and landed god fish in the 7- and 8-pound class while fishing anchovies from the shoreline. Largemouth and smallmouth bass are holding in the coves along submerged shelves. Soft plastics are catching the fish.
