Most bass are in post-spawn. Success has been reported using crankbaits at a slow-trolled speed, a half-ounce football jig with a jigger craw and especially dropshots.
Roboworms in a morning dawn color is popular and usually effective with dropshots.
Fishing should improve with warmer weather. A new fishing pier has been ordered for Canyon Lake Boulder Creek Recreation Area.
Lake level is 1,656 feet (95-percent full.)
