7.31.16 Coral Sea 3/4 Day Island Trip For reasons beyond our control we were unable to fish the same area as yesterday in an efficient manner, so after a while of struggling with funky conditions and tangled lines we switched things up and opted for a different game plan...Thankfully we stumbled across some toothy critters that were eager to play and we ended up having a blast for the remainder of the day! Our 25 anglers today captured 56 copper rockfish, 33 misc. rockfish, 1 cabezon, 1 ocean whitefish, 1 sheephead, and 75 lingcod. We had many Coral Sea newbies who had not caught a lingcod prior to today so that was very cool to experience with them!
