Today we went looking for something a little bigger. We saw scattered sign in the morning, but it wasn’t right, so we kept searching. Just before lunch we got into an area with the right signs of life. It didn’t take long before we saw what we were looking for. Tuna of mixed sizes were breaking along a rip. We slid in and hooked a handful. We landed a handful of 20- 40 # yellowfin, plus one, after an epic battle that tipped the scales at 251.6. We then scratched away at that smaller grade fish for the rest of the afternoon, while seeing the larger models on the outside and on the machines. The potential is here.
