Fishing Conditions and Hatches:

Fishing has been about average for numbers of fish but we have stuck fish up to 17 1/2 lbs. in the last week. It is a matter of patience, waiting for a pod of fish to come through then you see multiple hookups. The Tui Chubs are up to about 3 1/2 inches right now, so we have been throwing some large baitfish imitations along with the normal buggers and beetles.

Water conditions:

Lake was turning over a little last wknd. due to the unseasonably warm weather, but should be clear in a couple of days with the cooler weather & wind.
