5-25-17 UPDATE 2:50pm - The San Diego just called in with 7 Bluefin Tuna on the boat between 25-35lbs. Recommended tackle wouuld include a 25# setup with fluorocarbon and a size 2 hook and also a heavy setup with 50# to 80# line. They have lost a few fish well over 100lbs today.
12:30pm -The Tribute has 17 Bluefin Tuna on the boat now.
8:30am- They are now up to 15 Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin Tuna! The fish are in the 20-40# range.
7:30am - The Tribute started off the day with 8 Bluefin Tuna for their 9 anglers, with 5 hanging. Plenty of fishing left, so keep an eye out for more updates.

5-24-2017UPDATE 5:00pm - The San Diego finished their three quarter day trip on Wednesday with 16 Bluefin Tuna (25-35lbs) for their 21 anglers. Thursdays trip aboard the San Diego is a GO FOR SURE! Departure time is 5:30am and no passports required. The Pacific Voyager finished their 2 Day Charter with 17 Bluefin Tuna (all caught on the second day of the trip within one day range) and 90 Yellowtail. UPDATE 11:45am - Captain Ryan on the San Diego just called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna so far for their three quarter day trip! These fish are 25lbs to 35lbs each and captain Ryan is recommending 25# and 30# fluorocarbon for these fish and smaller flat fall jigs. The San Diego has plenty of open space all week and weekend targeting Bluefin and Yellowtail offshore. She departs daily at 5:30am!...... Read More
