Fishing has been great over the past week for both stripers and bass. Many anglers are using chicken liver and sardines throughout the day and some lures like kastmasters and top water early morning for stripers. Little boils have been seen around the lake and up in the canal by the entrance booth. Plastic baits and top water baits have also been working great for both Largemouth and Smallmouth throughout the lake and along the shore in front of the boat shop. A few catfish are still being caught out deep in coves and also from the rip rap on anchovies and chicken liver.
