Mark L.: This fish was caught on the Salt River end of Roosevelt Lake. This beautiful fish hit early morning on Oct. 1 on a piece of cut bait. It was awesome because I have been trying all year since I heard about the Fat Cat Challenge. I have caught 12 flatheads this year but nothing over 25 lbs. A buddy of mine was in town from Idaho and he’s never seen a flathead catfish before. I took him out on this trip thinking maybe we’ll get lucky enough to see one. Then BAM!! This beautiful fish came to say hi! What a cool experience!
