The storms have been treating the lake very nicely! Surface temps are sub 50 degrees, and with the overcast and low pressure the Lahontan Cutthroat are getting shallow and feeding well. The indicator bite has begun to pick up, but the retrieve bite is still my preferred method.

The trout seem to be pretty well scattered throughout the lake we’re seeing fish being caught on the north and south side of the lake. The key is finding a good drop off into 12-15+ feet of water, and keeping your flies in the water.

Flies We Suggest: Boobies (Martini Olive, Cat Whisker, Diablo), Pyramid Lake Beetle, Bellyache Minnow, Jans Tui-Chub, Balanced Leech, Holographic Midge
