Lake Skinner Fishing Hours: 8am-4pm
Striped Bass: Decent action on cut bait at the dam and inlet. Angelers have also had decent luck motoring around looking for schools of fish barely subsurface.
Bluegill: Crickets have been the most effective bait this week although anglers have had good action catching spawning gills on mini jigs.
Catfish: Very slow action for catfish this week.
Largemouth Bass: As usual solid numbers of fish coming to even amateur anglers on simple baits such as plastic worms and nightcrawler. Throw a 110 jerk bait if prefered.. plenty of fry in the water.
Trout: No Action
Carp: No Action to be reported.

Lake SkinnerStriped Bass: The usual tactics are still the most productive. Use chicken liver/anchovie at the inlet or dam area. Another effective method would be trolling a hard bait throughout the lake, especially main lake. Blue Gill: Mini jigs tipped with a mealworm or cricket are usually most productive. Small roostertails or kastmasters can also be very effective.
