Open to fishing now. Alpine County has planted the river this week with 2-6 lb rainbow trout. I would not be surprised if you hooked a bigger fish. The Hope Valley area will be the best area to fish. The canyon area waters are running very fast right now. For more information stop by the Creekside Lodge, which is now open.
