It's starting to look like we only have a couple of weeks left for Shad this season.  Most of the fish are concentrated at the top of the river; we found very few fish below River Bend Park today.

We still found plenty of fun; Joe won the "big fish" category on our gentleman's wager with this nice hen on orange/silver shad fly under a float:

First Fish; Biggest Fish; Most Fish; Last Fish are the wagers we play. Try it, it's fun.
