Great news: We've received clearance to rent boats from the Los Vaqueros Marina starting July 1!

Interested in boat rentals? Keep in mind:

• Boats are first come first serve. 
• Boat rentals are weather dependent. Strong winds prevent us from allowing any boats on the water, so be sure to call the Marina at 925-371-2628 to check wind conditions at LV before heading out to the watershed.
• 6’ social distancing and masks while in line. 
• Masks will be required for boat renters while on gangway and dock. 
• Any interaction with staff requires a mask to be worn.

MORE GOOD NEWS AND FRIENDLY REMINDERS

• Fish Plants: Look out for some catfish plants in mid to late July!
• Parking: Parking only in designated (paved and gravel) areas. Citations will be issued for vehicles parked outside of designated areas.
• Watershed Hours: Our hours are 6 am to 8 pm. Please be sure to exit the watershed in a timely fashion as gates are locked promptly at closing time. Citations will be issued for late departure.
• Trail Closures: Trail closures are still in effect to protect nesting Golden Eagles. For updates, find out more about Golden Eagles.
• Safety: We’re continuing to wear masks and social distance out at the watershed. Please keep in mind that any interaction with staff requires a mask to be worn.
