The Truckee is approcaching a transition period. Warmer weather will spark some run-off in the coming weeks. The fishing is outstanding in Nevada right now so if you have the time, fish it now. Nymphing with golden stonefly nymphs has been catching some big fish around Reno. The fish are in deeper runs so make sure you are getting your flies down.
