Lake is Ice Free

Open all year.

The lake is ice-free. Water temperatures are near freezing thus catch rates are poor. Targeting yellow perch is your best bet. A good place to start is the Ben Hall Creek arm of the reservoir near the boat dock. The reservoir is 30 percent full.

Gerber Reservoir is a large turbid reservoir. Bank access is good.

Most of the reservoir is on BLM property.
