Catfish have been biting very well all around the lake and from the shoreline, mainly in the canal by the entrance booth or off the points past the swim beach area on various cut baits such as anchovies, sardines and nightcrawlers. Stripers have also been biting well on different lures like jerkbaits, top waters, and spoon or trolling deeper diving jerk baits and kastmasters around the lake have been successful as well. Shoreline anglers have had success with striper along the canal but the front and the rip rap in front of the boat shop. Largemouth and smallmouth bass have been earring top water baits in the morning or spinnerbaits and soft plastics like flukes and senkos throughout the day along the grass lines of the lake.

Stripers have still been caught throughout the lake on Sardines using a long leader and up to an ounce sinker to mange the winds and currents around the lake. Even though the best bait has been fresh sardines from the marina, top waters, jerk baits and kastmasters have been working well to catch a striper throughout the day.
