Flows on Pit 3 continue to top 1,900 CFS

Flows on Pit 3 continue to top 1,900 CFS. Looking at the gages at Big bend and on Pit 5, the flows are around 400-425 CFS which are a little high, but doable. The lower river continues to clear and the gage on Pit 7 shows it should be good to go. We have not had any recent first hand reports to say for sure, but we would recommend going to another stream like the Upper Sacramento. It dropped in and is fishing great. 
As always, the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.
