I have heard some good brown trout action going on. I will be going over to spend a day or so and will have a full report.

Red Lake: A few anglers have been out on Red Lake

Blue Lake Lower: The first gate is closed until spring
Burnside Lake: Road is closed until spring
East Carson River: Fishing has been slow
Carson River: Water levels fluctuate this time of year, so use caution
Indian Creek Reservoir: The lake is open to fishing
Heenan Lake : Closed to fishing for the season
Topaz Lake: The lake level has come up about 8 feet
West Walker River: Open to catch and release with artificial lures or flies with barbless hooks
East Walker River: Fishing season is closed until the last Saturday in April
East Walker River (NV): Open to fishing all year with no gear restrictions
West Walker River (NV): Open to fishing all year with no gear restrictions
