Good number of fish in the main

Recent reports indicate that anglers are catching a good number of fish in the main, including a good number of hatchery fish. Fish are well distributed throughout the main.

Anglers who catch a hatchery winter steelhead are asked to turn in the snouts at one of the collection barrels. Those who’s snout contains a tag are entered into a monthly raffle for a $50 gift certificate to Sportsman’s Warehouse!

Trout fishing is closed in the mainstem and tributaries.

Rogue River - Middle: Winter fish are being caught from Galice to Rogue River
Rogue River- Upper: For the week of Jan. 19, 56 new summer steelhead entered the ladder bringing the year’s total to 3,128 fish
