Last week ODFW stocked larger-size rainbows in Cooper. This should make fishing for trout better in Cooper and bass fishing seems to be going well for anglers as well.
Since 2016, Cooper has stocked with coho and Chinook salmon juveniles. In 2021 ODFW stocked over 28,000 coho juveniles into Cooper Creek. These are often mistaken for kokanee. Anglers may retain up to 5 salmon juveniles in the reservoir as part of their daily trout bag limit. Please remember to release salmon and trout less than 8 inches.
