Fish Stocking Post!

Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery stocked 2,050 Rainbow Trout totaling 820 pounds at Davis Camp locations. For the Willow Beach location staff stocked two trips this week. The first stocking was 820 Rainbow Trout totally 328 pounds, the second stocking was 200 Rainbow Trout from our trophy program averaging 20.5 inches in totally 697 pounds.

Questions about the number of fish we stocked? Each stocking location has an annual quota of Rainbow Trout that we fulfill. Stocking numbers can fluctuate a bit per location per week as we account for these quotas by providing weekly stockings. Stockings per location are completed at random throughout the week to accommodate additioanl hatchery scheduling.
