Lot's of great fish being caught, that is for sure. Seems like we had a run on where every outing we would get into fish in the 14-20# class. Not seeing a lot of high numbers right now in quantity of fish being caught, but if you soak that bobber long enough you are bound to get rewarded....don't miss those dunks. Strip game is decent in the morning and evening on the sandy beaches (Pelican, North and South Nets, Windless, Etc) and all the classics are working like beetles, woolies, and of course Yak's. Midges are still going strong, darker color patterns resembling the emerging pupa stages are best bets. To learn more on this check out our recent podcast on Midges with Phil Rowley and Brain Chan at Anchor.fm/bearfish. If you want to get out on the lake their are still some spots left for the season, call Captain Robert Hagerty of Pyramid Fly Co at 970.231.9609 and book your day on the water. Tight lines!
