At Bartlett Lake, an angler reported that the bite was excellent two weeks ago. He caught more than two dozen bass in the morning, mostly topwater. Returned a week ago on kayaks and caught about a dozen on top water, grubs and drop shots. The bite seems to be slowing down as the water is cooling.
