Road access to the lake is closed for the winter at the gate at the FH3/FR 125 junction. Only boats with a 10-horsepower motor or less are allowed on Kinnikinick Lake. The limit is 4 trout. Kinnikinick Lake is completely ice covered. The ice must be at least 4 inches thick (6 inches for two anglers) for a single angler with gear to ice fish from.
