Finally found the monster I was looking for! 48.5"! Trolling a deep diving pointer on a 10 pound fluorocarbon spinning setup in Last Chance Bay. Tried to revive it after 15-20min fight, but it didn't have anything left. I was still uplake for a couple more days, so it went into Ziplocks in the cooler instead of to the scale at Wahweap. That was probably a mistake as it looks like it was likely a Utah state record. I didn't have a scale, but charts online put it at 50-55 pounds. Took all measurements ti have a replica mount done.
