Anglers have recently had success for channel catfish using bait on the bottom. Bite-sized pieces of hot dog, nightcrawlers, or 1/3 of an anchovy are all good catfish baits. Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on Santa Fe Reservoir. No gas-powered motors. The limit is 2 bass minimum size 13 inches, the limit is 4 channel catfish, the limit is 4 trout.
