The Kilchis is dropping today and should be in good shape in a day or two. With the number of wild steelhead showing up in other basins, I would expect there to be plenty of catch and release opportunity on the Kilchis once it greens up. ‌

The Mapes Creek (logging bridge) boat ramp was damaged in the storm a few weeks ago and is still closed. Boaters should use extreme caution and check the ramp before launching there.
