Jakes Creek Reservoir is ~90% ice covered, but conditions are NOT suitable for ice fishing. Ice is only measuring a couple of inches thick, with an 18-inch ring of open water around the northern shoreline. With projected weather conditions and temperatures, it is expected that these ice conditions will continue to degrade.
