Lost Creek current elevation is about 1,844 feet. The Takelma boat ramp is available for access by trailered boats. The county ramp at Joseph Stewart is usable as well.‌

Bank fishing near the dam was productive recently with rainbow, garlic Powerbait. Trout landed ranged from 12-18 inches. A recent report was received of twenty fish being caught by two anglers trolling around the reservoir fairly close to the surface with a pink hoochie spiked with corn behind a dodger and weight. Green and orange wedding ring spiked with corn behind a dodger and weight also was also productive. One rainbow was 20 inches.‌

Effort has been surprisingly low. Another report indicated an angler caught numerous 14 to 16-inch spring Chinook and trout trolling an Apex lure around the dam and water control tower to depths of 80 feet with a downrigger. Wind drifting with worms may also produce trout. ‌
