JD Dam is catch-and-release only for trout; no trout may be kept; artificial fly and lure only; single-pointed, barbless hooks only. Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on JD Dam. No gas-powered motors. Anglers have been catching big 16- to 18-inch tiger trout and 20-inch rainbow trout recently. Surface temperature 63.86 F, pH 7.98, D.O. 9.2 on 5/12/2024.
