The Salmon River is open for trout fishing! Like its neighbors it's been a slower start, but folks are starting to catch some fish. Early mornings or later afternoons are the best times to hit the system. A bit further upstream where the water is more shaded may offer better opportunity. ‌

Chinook season is open on the Salmon River. Fishing should start improving over the next couple of weeks. Check your regulations before you head out.
