CDFW planted 1,600 lbs of small rainbow trout (around 40,000 fish!) this morning at the McClure Point South Ramp. These little guys are only 4–6” long right now - a little too small for your line, but they’ll grow fast and play a big part in McClure’s fishery over the next year.

Give them some time (and plenty of lake snacks), and you’ll be seeing them again soon!
